11 Core Values

1. Trust

Trust is the foundation on which a Feminine business can flourish.

The business world can be ruthless, untrusting, and “every man for himself”. In a Feminine business model, we trust in ourselves, our vision, the people around us, and the divine inspiration we receive. Nothing sustainable or healthy can be created or expanded upon without this type of deep, radical trust. Trust includes intuition—it means learning to trust your gut, your body, your heart, your vision. Trust leads to flow and releases control of the outcome. Trusting and flowing within our lives and our business ironically leads to true “success”.

2. Boundaries

Clear boundaries set expectations and create a safe container in which you can grow your Feminine business.

Setting clear personal boundaries is the key to ensuring relationships are mutually respectful, supportive and caring.

Boundaries are the container in which spontaneity and flow can be practiced safely.
Boundaries set expectations and minimize draining interactions.
Boundaries help you prioritize what to invest your time, energy and relationships.

Don’t know how to establish your boundaries? Let anger show you. Anger is the signal that lets us know our boundaries have been violated. Part of having clear boundaries is tapping into your own personal truth and using your voice to express it.

3. Cycles

The natural Feminine energy is cyclical and honors the ebb and flow of nature.

Operating in a Feminine model asks us to trust the cycles of growing our business. We acknowledge that we and the business we are building is part of a bigger whole. It’s a phenomenon that’s connected to the cycles of nature, the moon, growing new life within our bodies, the seasons and the ebb and flow of life itself.

4. Passion

Embodying your passion is allowing your innate, unique soul gifts to come alive.

Who you ARE inspires - breathes life into - what you are passionate about. Women traditionally have been trained (read: brainwashed) to focus on and fulfill other people's needs. Once we are more clear on who we are, what turns us on, excites us, frustrates us, makes us jealous, we start to see what we are passionate about and where we need to spend our time and energy.

5. Pleasure

Pleasure allows us to override our trained response to operate from the head and connects us to the joy and abundance of the present moment.

We’ve been trained to operate from our heads. The Feminine asks us to bring the body back into the process of growing a business so that our offerings to the world are imbued with pleasure, joy and life force.

Pleasure is the connection to the present moment and experienced within the body.
Pleasure can be accessed at any time and is your birthright.
Pleasure removes blocks and releases tension.
Pleasure helps you connect to your deeper and trusting self.
Pleasure is something universal yet unique.

And the only way to access pleasure is experiencing it.

6. Spaciousness

Invite space back into your business and experience the peace that is possible while reaching for the next expansion.

Space is the opposite of hustle. Hustle implies busyness, anxiety, the need to rush success. But true success cannot be forced and actually requires more space to allow the creative generative process to shape the work we put into the world. As women, we have been trained to operate from the Masculine and use all our space to get shit done, but we actually need to take up more space to be, to flow, to trust, to find pleasure. When we pause with intent we can use our space to acknowledge where we are within the cycle of our business. We then are able to discern if it is time to relax and breathe or rage and kick some ass.

7. Generosity

A mindset that combines abundance and trust into a joyful way of expressing yourself and your work.

The patriarchal/unconscious capitalism model operates from a place of power over, one-sided winning, scarcity and grabbing as much as you can while sharing little as possible. Generosity, on the other hand, builds trust and traction. To fully embody the spirit of generosity we must learn how to receive. The Feminine is the receptive element in the Yin/Yang dance and we must reclaim it in the Feminine Business Model. Allowing ourselves to receive is sometimes much harder than it sounds but it is an important key to unlock some of the cash flow we need to generate now.

8. Collaboration

When you have embraced generosity, you’re now open to true collaboration instead of competition.

From this type of generous collaboration, you are able to springboard your business to the success you’ve only dreamed of before and begin receiving and giving in radical reciprocity (we’ve seen this happen over and over again - and it’s not about who has the biggest list). The Feminine Business Model by definition is collaborative. The Feminine thrives in community, in communication, on adding value to people’s lives. She knows that to go far, we need to go together.

9. Allyship

As an ally, we get curious about, acknowledge, and use our white-woman privilege to benefit marginalized groups for the good of the whole.

The time when the limited lens of the “empowered white woman” rules is over. From a place of inclusivity we actively choose to promote and aspire to advance the culture of inclusion through intentional, positive and conscious efforts that we know will benefit people as a whole. We acknowledge the complete and equal sovereignty of all people and treat ourselves with respect and kindness so that we are able to extend it to others.

10. Responsibility

Taking personal responsibility is assuming ownership of your experience and leaving victim mentality behind.

Taking ownership and responsibility for your actions is an important part of healthy relationships. Business is built on relationships, Feminine and otherwise. By being willing to accept that everyone, including ourselves, makes mistakes, we learn how to take responsibility and grow—and encourage others to do the same. But, we do this without blaming others. When something goes wrong, blaming others strips you of your power but when you take responsibility; your primary focus is to identify what went wrong so that you can correct it. In a Feminine Business Model, we get to practice the five essential elements of responsibility—honesty, compassion/respect, fairness, accountability, and courage.

11. Discomfort

Leaning into the uncomfortable allows us to stay woke.

Trusting the uncomfortable parts of growing a business is a huge part of the Feminine process. We lean into the discomfort, instead of glossing over it or pummeling through it. Diving deeper into what's uncomfortable allows us to mine the lessons we need in our life. By having uncomfortable truthful conversations and feelings we uncover what they are trying to tell us. This is when we get to practice empathy and self-compassion. We begin to see when we put up walls, numb out, go into auto-pilot, do things outside of our genius zone in order to control the outcome. Discomfort is the divine interrupter of blocks and trying to control the outcome.
